These are far from my best interview frames, but there’s very few DP’s who can setup interview shots in 90 seconds in high-pressure environments and get these results.  For the first time in years, a camera crew was allowed behind-the-scenes access on game day for NBC’s Sunday Night Football.  My producer made it clear that our main job was staying out of the way, so we were given only 1-2 minutes to set up each interview.  For light shaping, I only used a small panel light and 2 flexfills for diffusion/bounce. For Collinsworth and Michaels, we were given an ugly area behind their broadcast booth and made the best of it in the couple minutes we had.
